WELCOME TO TLC
We are a non-denominational church in Hollister, MO, striving to live out the biblical command to love God, one another, and our neighbors well. We believe the Bible is the spoken Word of God — living, powerful, and true — and it is the foundation for everything we believe and do. If it’s in the Bible, we believe it. Following Jesus is more than words to us; it’s a way of life, as we seek to reflect His love, truth, and grace in all we do.
Our Pastors
Micah & Becky
Micah and Becky Herbert are the senior pastors at Taney Love Church.
God has placed a call on their lives to pastor the local church as well as travel and minister, both in the United States and internationally, as they partner with other ministries, and bring the power of the Spirit with solid foundation in the Word.
Their vision has always been to gather, train, and send. 2 Timothy 2:2 says, “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.” Their heart is to see this call fulfilled in the lives of everyone they encounter.
Micah & Becky have been licensed ministers and ordained since 2018. They both received a certificate of association in 2021 under Faith Life International.
Our Mission
WHAT WE BELIEVE
2 Timothy 2:2 is our mission
“And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also”.
To put it simply: “Gather, Train, and Send”.
We are called to gather those that have been called to this ministry. We will teach, train and equip them through the full gospel of Jesus Christ and send them into their calling.
Our hope is to impact our community in all aspects of Life (Marriage, Family, Work and Ministry), and through our wonderful savior & teacher Jesus Christ, increase and improve the lives of those around us.
We serve a loving God who desires to have a personal and intimate relationship with us. He did this by sending his son in the flesh, so that the righteous requirement of the law would be fulfilled. (Rom 8:3-4)
Our faith is built on the firm foundation of the Word of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
GATHER
Hebrews 10:25 says:
25 Not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
We believe in the gathering together in person. Not only to hear the word preached but to do life together and grow as a church family.
TRAIN
2 Tim 2:2 says:
2 And what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also.
We believe in biblical discipleship, that every person has a call on their lives and that call is orchestrated by our Heavenly Father. Our mission is to see all who come through our doors fulfilling their call.

Jeremiah 29:11 says:
11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope
God has a purpose and a plan for everyone's lives, family, business, community travel and ministry are all part of Gods great vision for our lives. our hope is to help every person to walk in the plan the GOD had for our lives.
